Welcome back from the General Manager

The past few weeks have been very exciting for the club, as we welcomed back our members and guests to walk through our doors, reconnect with our staff, and once again enjoy dining within our club. We are now even more excited following the Premier's announcement to further ease restrictions allowing us to increase the total number of patrons in our venue, and reopen our gaming lounge from midday, Friday 3 July 2020. 

As part of welcoming you back into the club, importantly we do ask that patrons carry the required identification as we must maintain a log of patrons in the venue as we adapt to this new normal. As a member this will be easier for you and we will be encouraging all guests to join the club to help ease the process. We ask that you use your membership card at all times when entering and exiting the club. We will be encouraging card use for gaming, as well as the restaurant, cafe and all bars.

Patron and staff safety are a high propriety for us all and we will be promoting and encouraging social distancing whilst at the venue. For our restaurant, please make sure that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. In all other areas our team will be reminding patrons to observe physical distancing requirements, unless you are enjoying the facility with friends and family. We have increased our commitment to the health and safety of our patrons and staff. This has now gone beyond our continuous cleaning and sanitising throughout the day, to a full top to bottom Certified Hospital Grade Surface Disinfectant Spray of the whole club that provides 28 days of additional comfort. Plus, we have added more hand sanitising units throughout the club for your convenience, and all of our staff are COVIDsafe Certified. The Lion Richlands supports and promotes the use of the Australian Government’s COVIDSafe App, if you haven’t downloaded this, please do. We also would like to take this opportunity to remind you that if you are feeling unwell, please stay home. Our staff will be abiding by the same conditions.

The staff, management, board and I are all so excited to see things slowly get back to normal.  We are all thankful of your understanding during this period and hopefully it's not too long now until the club is operating bigger and better than ever before.
