Lions FC

Founded by a group of Dutch immigrants in 1957, Lions Football Club, originally known as Hollandia, has a rich history in Queensland soccer. Hollandia teams competed in lower and first-division competitions for two decades, with their home grounds at Richlands. Since 1989, the club has been at the forefront of football in Queensland, winning numerous premierships, grand finals, and cup finals. With nearly 1,000 football members and 82 teams, the club is dedicated to youth development and promoting women in sport.

Spoke To A Bloke

Spoke To A Bloke is a charity dedicated to raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health. It was founded in memory of a beloved brother and friend, Nick, who tragically took his own life while struggling with mental health issues. Before his passing, Nick organised an annual 25k walk to encourage exercise and foster check-ins among friends during the long walk. From the first “Nick’s Walk” in 2022, Spoke To A Bloke launched “Walk For A Bloke” to further support men’s mental health. In addition to Walk For A Bloke, the charity hosts events like Challenge For A Bloke and Headband For A Bloke to promote mental well-being among men.

Smart Pups

Smart Pups Assistance Dogs, a non-profit charity organization in Queensland, Australia, is dedicated to training service dogs to assist children with special needs. These dogs provide independence, confidence, emotional support, and physical assistance, significantly enhancing the lives of the children and their families.
