Smart Pups and The Lion Richlands have established a heartfelt partnership over the past two years, with The Lion Richlands generously sponsoring Smart Pups. This year, in addition to Baxter, our sponsored puppy, we have been involved in several fundraising activities with Smart Pups with the hope of making a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most, such as our first Art Union in June.
On November 14th, we reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the community. The team of The Lion Richlands attended an amazing fundraising lunch at the Porters Plainland Hotel in support of the Gurnick Family’s journey to secure a Smart Pup for their child.
Hearing the heartwarming stories from the Gurnick Family and others truly touched our hearts and filled us with pride about the impact we’re making together.
The luncheon was also a chance for us to catch up with Baxter. No longer the small puppy we met at the start of our sponsorship this year, Baxter has grown strong and confident, fully embracing his mission when he wears his vest. He will call South Australia home in March, ready to change lives with his meaningful purpose.
