At The Lion Richlands, we are honoured to once again make a meaningful impact with Head and Neck Cancer Australia for their fundraising event, “Soup for the Soul,” to help raise awareness. Throughout the month of July, The Lion Richlands will be donating $2 to the cause for every soup purchased by our members & guests.
This marks the second year that The Lion Richlands has organized this initiative, inspired by the story of Jo Coombes, a club member who bravely battled Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), the most common form of skin cancer. Jo’s journey has motivated the community to come together and support those affected by head and neck cancers.
The fundraising event not only serves as a way to give back to the community but also to educate and raise awareness about these types of cancers.
Together, they are making a difference and showing that small actions can have a big impact.
